CLASS INFORMATION

Economy Class

VARIG Economy holds pleasant surprises and quality service to the passengers. For the principle meals on-board international flights, the passengers choose between two or three entrée options, depending on the route or the length of the flight. On transoceanic flights, there is a Snack Bar at your disposal, a self-service buffet with a variety of light meals. On day flights longer than five hours, between movies the flight crew offers a Movie Snack, sandwiches and finger food to accompany your favorite beverage.

Business Class

Spaciousness is only one symbol of VARIG’s Executive Class. The seats recline up to 135 degrees. In addition, on-board service offers you two appetizer options, four hot entrée options, and one dessert, in addition to fruit and cheese plates. The beverages follow the VARIG First plan and the Wines of the World program is also available.

The Comfort Station is available for your convenience, containing nine items complementary to the products available in the travel kits, making your flight with us even more comfortable.

In addition to the variety of TV VARIG programming on screen, the VARIG Business entertainment also uses individual video units, with 12 programming options in up to seven different languages.

Executive Class on-board service offers Executive Express, a fast service which allows customers to get their rest earlier or finish preparing that presentation for the business meeting the next morning.

First Class

Personalized service is the primary characteristic of VARIG's First Class.

The on-board service, which follows the Restaurant Style philosophy, allows you to choose, from a diversified menu, the dish of your choice and when you would like each of your meals to be served. The menu is composed of four appetizer options, five hot entree options, two desserts, as well as fruit and cheese. The Iranian Caviar, becoming more rare and exclusive, continues to be prominent in VARIG’s on-board service, which uses the services of wine-expert Danio Braga to personally choose the wines for the Wines of the World program.

In addition to the variety of TV VARIG programming on screen, the VARIG First entertainment uses individual video units with 12 programming options including 6 movies in up to seven different languages. VARIG First also features the Comfort Station which includes nine items very useful in flight and which complements the products available in the travel kits and lavatories.
