ELIGIBILITY
Available only to persons residing outside Brazil holding international tickets from the USA to Brazil. Brazilian nationals residing abroad must submit proof of their residence.

VALIDITY
Period of application: All year. Sales are effective 01/01/01. Maximum stay: 21 days including date of departure.

STOPOVERS
Stopovers are limited to the total number of coupons purchased. Except as provided for in the ROUTING paragraph below. Each ticketed destination in the 'Good For Passage' section of the ticket is considered a stopover.

ROUTING
A maximum of two connections may be made in Brasilia/Fortaleza /Manaus/ Recife/ Rio/ Sao Paulo and Salvador provided that the maximum ground time is not more than 8 hours. The two coupons forming such a connection will be counted as one flight coupon. The same sector may not be flown more than once in the same direction. Travel is not permitted on the RIO/ SAO air shuttle (SDU/ CGH).

ADVERTISING AND SALES
Only one Airpass may be sold in conjunction with an international round or circle trip journey from the USA to Brazil.

RESERVATIONS
Must be booked in advance for whole itinerary. Booking class on VARIG/RIO SUL/NORDESTE: L class only.

PAYMENT
The Brazil Airpass ticket must contain a cross reference to the number of the ticket used for international air transportation to Brazil and also indicate 'VARIG Brazil Airpass' in the endorsement/ restriction box.

TICKETING
Fare basis code - LBAP21. Not endorsable BAP.

REFUNDS
For cancellation/no show: Before departure - refund the fare paid less US$30.00; if partially used the BAP is not refundable.

REBOOKING/REROUTING
Any time - charge US$30.00. Only permitted where flight coupons are available for alteration.

DISCOUNTS
Tour Conductor /Agents discounts not permitted.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
For domestic sectors flown in connection with an international routing the free baggage allowance will be that permitted for the international journey.

EXCESS BAGGAGE
Charges for purely Brazilian domestic transportation will be 1% of the Economy Class normal fare applicable to the sector involved.
